20 Job cuts at River Valley Bank

WAUSAU, Wis (WSAU) River Valley Bank announced job cuts.

20 positions are being eliminated. The lost jobs include lenders, customer service reps and support staff. Bank President and CEO Bruce Anderson tells the Wausau Daily Herald that business in the loan department had been slow because of a lack of borrowing, not because of loan defaults.

The cuts were spread out over the bank’s 14 branches. Other vacant positions within the bank have also been eliminated.
