37 jobs lost at military supplier

Armatec, one of the rising stars in London’s military-industrial sector, is laying off 37 workers.

The permanent layoffs are spread across all departments and represent more than 10% of the workforce of 340, said general manager Paul Bergqvist.

Bergqvist said the layoffs were not due to the loss of a contract but were based on a revision to the estimated workload over the next six months.
