Charles Schwab to cut 100 jobs

Charles Schwab is planning to cut 100 jobs, “mostly at the officer level – and to result in severance charges totaling approximately $20 million pre-tax in the fourth quarter of 2008.” It said it will review option to cut costs further, and would include possible further job cuts and lower marketing spending
