Dana Holding Corp. notified the state Wednesday that it is laying off 25 to 35 workers at its Power Technologies Group plant on Milwaukee’s northwest side.

Affected workers are represented by the United Auto Workers union Local 9.

The plant at 11500 W. Brown Deer Road produces gaskets and sealing devices. Toledo, Ohio-based Dana indicated to the state that it was filing the notice voluntarily since the number of workers being laid off is less than that required under the state’s mass layoff notice statute.

The Milwaukee Area Workforce Investment Board will provide outplacement services to affected employees.
