Deutsche Telekom’s Slovak Unit to Cut 766 Jobs

Deutsche Telekom AG (DTE)’s Slovak unit plans to cut as many as 766 jobs this year, Hospodarske Noviny reported, citing trade union official Milan Brlej.

Slovak Telekom, in which Deutsche Telekom owns 51 percent, has 4,870 employees, the newspaper said. The job cut will reduce costs by 2 million euros ($2.8 million), Hospodarske said.
