Hasbro to move 70 jobs from Mass to RI, lay off 75

Toymaker Hasbro Inc. is moving about 70 jobs from its western Massachusetts facility to Rhode Island and laying off another 75 Massachusetts-based workers in a reorganization of its gaming division.

The cost of the move announced Wednesday will appear in Hasbro ( HAS – news – people )’s second-quarter earnings report in July, but will not affect its 2011 outlook.
