Hewlett-Packard Plans Layoffs 100 In Pennsylvania

The notice, sent to the state’s Department of Labor and Industry, said the Palo Alto, Calif.-based technology giant planned to cut 92 jobs from an office in Camp Hill, Penn., on May 31. It is unclear whether this is a targeted cut or part of a broader plan.
Federal laws require large companies to disclose layoff plans at least 60 days ahead of time.
Hewlett-Packard didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
The company’s shares recently traded down 0.4% at $40.90.
