L-3 lays off 45 in Camden

Employees were notified of their April 21 separation date on Monday.
Among those to be laid off are 26 engineers and 11 technicians, both represented by unions. Also included are eight non-represented workers.
The decision was prompted by a “declining workload” and the desire “to improve overall competitiveness,” he said.
