Patti-Jo Burtnett, the agency’s spokeswoman, said the cuts will mean reductions in alcohol and drug assessments and psychiatric services. There also could be some reductions in other support services.
The agency has an annual budget of roughly $18 million, of which about 52 percent comes from a levy. Burtnett said federal funds account for about 40 percent of the current budget with the remaining 8 percent coming from the state of Ohio.
