Archer Daniels Midland Co. (ADM) said it has cut 335 jobs in Decatur, Illinois.
Out Of the 335 jobs cut in Decatur, where ADM is headquartered, 160 employees accepted an early retirement package, while 175 were laid off.
Iowa Workforce Development cut 13 probationary workers due to reduced federal funding.
The agency expects a $5 million budget shortfall this fiscal year, Koonce said. The state plans to cut about 100 positions and close 37 unemployment field offices.
Iowa Department of Natural Resources director Roger Lande just informed staffers of a round of layoffs due to budget cuts.
